What does it mean to be an intellectual? What does it mean to be an independent thinker? What is a truthful witness? What thoughts and behaviors will get you ruthlessly shamed today? What is the light? What is goodness?
Intellectualism, the light, goodness, what you will be shamed for, consists of some of the following:
Example, for standing against rude people who blast loud music from their cars while driving through neighborhoods, standing against rude people who cut others in line, as this selfish behavior leads to chaos, to society’s downfall.
Example, for being naturally resistant to democracy, rule by popular vote, mob rule, tribal-partisan narratives, one-sided comment sections, social pressure, i.e., what everyone says, does, and believes must automatically be right and smart.
Another Example, for not automatically believing an article or video, its headline and narrative, especially if these comes from partisan sources. You question suspect (click-bait) headlines like “Racist Cop Exposed,” Dumb Feminist Destroyed in a Debate,” Person XYZ admits to being a Fascist,” “Political Commentator XZY Loses it Live on Air,” “College Professor Humiliated by True Patriot,” etc., etc. You do not simply take everything at face value.
Furthermore, you also tend to research news stories and social commentary from multiple sources, not just one political or partisan (tribal) side. You often listen to what leftwing media, rightwing media, independent media, business media, individual commentators, and so on are saying about a story.
You also question the sources and their incentives, like public messages and interviews from CEOs are almost all but worthless, firstly, because they want to protect any competitive edge the business may have so they will never clearly explain how the business works in simple terms, instead they will be deliberately vague and confusing, completely unwilling to answer the most basic of questions; secondly, because they are hired and incentivized to promote/sell the business and increase its value/stock price, so they will almost always claim the business is doing well and/or will do well in the future, regardless of reality. If the Titanic was a business, after it hit the Iceberg and was about to sink, the CEO would still publicly promote the business claiming, “Good news! There will be no operating expenses in the next quarter, and our customers are about to enjoy our new moon-light swimming program!”
You do not immediately react and rush to conclusions; you look beyond the present moment and first-tier consequences.
Example, for not assuming someone accused of sexual assault is automatically guilty without any evidence/research.
Examples: You understand that raising minimum wage does not always make society richer as, in response, businesses may fire more employees, increase workloads, raise prices, and increase automation. You understand that legally banning something might not lead to less of it, but perhaps more of it, and more crime (as with alcohol prohibition). Silly laws and policies, born from impulse, will tend to have a complete opposite effect (like too much animal safety laws discourage people from having the pets the laws apply to, as there is too much liability, leading to less safety for the very animals the law seeks to protect).
You understand that firing people for mistakes can create a culture that causes them to hide mistakes from you (kill the messenger syndrome) which creates an echo chamber divorced from reality. Beating a child for bad grades can cause them to hide the grades from you and have the opposite effect of hurting their grades. You understand that awarding police for number of arrests incentivizes them make up arrests, leading to lawsuits, lack of public trust, and more crime. You understand that sales pressure can incentivize staff to make up fake sales leading to less sales, etc.
Example, for believing in the essential value “I, and I alone, am responsible for my actions.” Generally, you do not hold the bartender responsible for the drunk driver who caused the accident; you do not hold the gun manufacturer, or the gun store owner, responsible for the mass shooter who murdered with the gun; you do not hold the unknowing taxi driver who dropped the robber off at the scene of the crime.
Example, you cheer when Western nations bomb an evil terrorist state while weaklings today are crying about how “Western imperialism” or “the West causing destabilization” is somehow responsible for all the evil in the world. You instead rightfully place the blame back where it always belonged, on the evil terrorist state.
You cheer when the good are rewarded and when vile criminals get their just desserts and are punished. You maintain a military spirit and believe in the West defending its borders.
Example, focusing on the fact that all criminals are getting off with lighter sentences, rather than toxic men’s groups who demand you only focus on women getting off easy for crimes, rather than toxic women’s groups who demand you only focus on men getting off easy for crimes, rather than toxic race obsessed groups who demand you only focus on a certain race getting off easy for crimes, rather than socialist or Marxist groups which demand you only focus on rich people getting off easy for crime. You understand these toxic groups only seek out evidence that conveniently fits their narrative, they hunt for racism, for women or men being evil or whatever while they overlook or discard any other evidence to the contrary.
Example, focusing on the fact that there is too many good people who are censored online and not enough bad people (criminal social media channels) being censored online by the social media tech giants and then focusing on societal solutions such as a state funded social media platform, when small minds want you to focus on only 50% of the argument when they either A) only complain about there being too much online censorship or B) only complain about there not being enough censorship, and then C) never offer any remedy by discussing societal solutions to the problems of private businesses (profit-seeking entities exposed to legal liability) deciding what is allowed and not allowed in public discourse.
For example, you see two fools, two charlatans, for example, like a Neo-Nazi and radical (man-hating) feminist, debating and you do not side with either when all the political tribes on the internet demand you must pick a side (winner) simply because one might be slightly less foolish than the other. Those on the right, so blinded by their tribalism and hatred for the left, will focus all their attacks on the radical feminist while ignoring the evil and stupidity of the Neo-Nazi, those on the left, so blinded by their tribalism and hatred for the right, will focus their attacks on the Neo-Nazi, will ignoring the evil and stupidity of the radical feminist. The political tribes ridicule who they see as the loser and exalt who they see the winner despite the declared winner’s obvious, and well documented, flaws and crimes, all displayed online by a simple minute search. (often might side with worst one as person on opposite political side might be moderate
For example, you don’t side with neither evil leftwing rioters nor evil rightwing rioters, you don’t side with the toxic male podcast host nor the shameless prostitutes the host is needlessly inviting on to degrading and provoke.
For example, you do not support pornography or guru seminar businesses simply because they are legal and you refuse to befriend and legitimize those who engage in such unscrupulous enterprises.
Example, you reject the slogan Believe All Women, which demands all men accused of sexual assault against women be seen as guilty without evidence, and then reject any equally stupid counter slogan, like Believe No Women, which demands all women accusing others of sexual assault be seen as liars and false accusers without evidence.
Example, you don’t say Blue Lives Matter as a stupid contrarian response, a counter slogan, to Black Lives Matter and you don’t accept the false labeling that says, because a person does not support one, they must automatically be a supporter of the other.
Example, you reject the argument that normal people should be allowed to steal because rich people are (allegedly) allowed to steal and vice versa, that white people should be allowed to commit crimes cause black people are (allegedly) allowed to commit crimes and vice versa.
Example, you reject an entitled society where “many people see themselves as victims” falsely but also reject the counter racialization that tries to state the opposite extreme, that, “no people are ever victimized and everyone is just an entitled whiner” even when this is clearly stupid and false, with both idiotic extremes, of course, resulting in real victims being ignored and neglected.
Example, you side with the teacher and school over the unruly student. You side with the police officer who is doing his job and not the instigator who is taunting law enforcement and being needlessly difficult, disrespectful, and obstructive. You understand respect for authority is needed for an orderly society.
You believe in the above and are willing to question, challenge, and refute anyone who does not. You have the resilience to say the truth, to respect and defend virtue, reason and light, even if an overwhelming majority is against you.
This is our identity. This is what we are shamed, hated, and persecuted for, as darkness hates the light.
A) assume guilt without facts, context, and evidence (knee-jerk react),
B) invent-fabricate mistakes, often to the point of utter pettiness, juvenile insults-fallacies, and quack body language reading. Furthermore, they not only hold their targets to unrealistic/unfair/impossible standards, but they also disingenuously demand their targets “prove innocence” or “prove self-worth” while constantly shifting the goal post, even to the point where attempting to provide proof of innocence is eventually used as evidence against the target. Responding to an unfounded accusation by denying it and showing proof must mean the person is guilty, not responding to an unfounded accusation by ignoring it somehow also means the person is guilty,
C) manipulate footage, titles, and pictures, and twist people’s words, and the truth, to appear superior,
D) display predatory behavior, meaning the more a person appears uncomfortable/irritated with being recorded, the more said person does not want to be recorded and uploaded online to be unfairly judged, the more the online mobs and their charlatans want to record (harass), upload, and publicly shame (unfairly judge) the person; the mobs falsely accuse the person who understandably does not want to bullied, character assassinated, tormented, financially ruined, and persecuted by them of “hiding something to avoid accountability” when it’s the mob’s constant abusive behavior (finding-inventing guilt with basically everything) which has led to such rational trepidation, meaning the more outraged a target is of the malicious lies being publicly said about them, the more the evil masses attack the person (the target) with the malicious lies and, with greater intensity, publicly promote the lies as truth, meaning the more a target apologizes for a bad act, assuming the act is forgivable, the more the mob viciously attacks them and demands increasingly harsher punishment; the masses prey on any perceived weakness (they act like sharks and treat weakness as blood in the water; they act like a pack of wolves pouncing on a wounded deer or moose),
E) engage in blatant hypocrisy, meaning they ruthlessly shame others for very acts they themselves openly do, like evil mobs shaming others for racism or misogyny while being openly racist/misogynistic, like evil mobs falsely accusing others of being perverted while they wear obscene shirts and hold obscene signs, like evil mobs accusing public officials and government workers of being entitled, while they display breathtaking entitlement, like evil, political mobs falsely accusing others of stealing elections while they openly try to steal elections.
Intellect is the ability to think beyond emotion, beyond the present moment which is now rare.
Independent thinking is the ability to form your own thoughts and conclusions which is also rare in an age of growing toxic tribalism, where people take false narratives, slanted headlines and video titles at face value, where comment sections are nothing, but echo chambers closed off to all dissent, to all logical criticism and rationality.
Modern society shuns both intellect and independent thinking to the point where the good people who have such traits are neglected and isolated. For example, try comparing (and contrasting) an event in the present with one in the past, like comparing illegal immigration the West is facing today with the barbarian migration that destroyed the Roman Empire in 4th and 5th centuries, and the ignoramuses will look at you with a sense of contempt and/or bewilderment, like you have a penis growing out your forehead. Try comparing the witch trials of the past centuries or the hunt for heretics during the time of the Inquisition, and the human sacrifice committed by the Mayans with today’s obsession with racism, homophobia, and pedophilia, where fanatical mob constantly seek to hunt down, persecute, and destroy others for such wrongthink, and win the same contemptuous, baffled response. Hell, try only going back to the previous century and compare-contrast the Fall of Saigon (1975) with Fall of Kabul (2021) and, again, be looked at with utter confusion, ridicule, and contempt.
The ignorant masses do not have the mental ability to study and reflect on anything that existed before their own lifespans. Comparing today’s obsession with superheroes with the mythology of the past in Ancient Greece and Rome is something they cannot comprehend because only the present moment and their petty life experience matters. As stated, they do not even have the ability to study and reflect on the recent history of the 20th century (history still in living memory at the time of this writing), as they praise failed and oppressive systems of government like Communism, murderous dictators, and the poverty caused by decolonialization. Worse, they do not even have the ability to look beyond four years passed the next election as they bicker over meaningless political noise, over which interchangeable candidate is somehow the worst/best, as they, even when they do rarely read, buy garbage political books that thoughtlessly ignore timeless wisdom, all the other sides of the argument, and instead focus only on fear mongering and confirmation bias about the problems of the current administration/political climate and the demonization of current rival tribes, in other words, books that soon will just be outdated (no longer relevant) once someone new comes into office and the political climate changes.
The failure of reason can be witnessed by going to any comment section on a video-news story where someone is accused of a serious crime without evidence, as nearly all, if not all, the other commenters idiotically just assume guilt of the person accused and any attempts, any statements, any requests to get them to control their impulses, to control their emotions, to patiently wait for facts, evidence, context, and all sides of the story, all witness accounts, before reacting, assuming guilt, and delivering condemnation, is met with insults, ridicule, and hostility. The good person, the one who possesses the ability to think, is also now condemned for challenging the excesses of the mob.
This is why you, as an intellectual, should join us. If you are tired of seeing stupidity and evil praised and intelligence and goodness shamed, we allow you to voice your concerns to help curb and stop this trend; we allow you to question the false narrative. Regardless, we value the light within you, light which is become rarer and rarer as society declines into darkness. Our website, our group, our culture, gives you a chance to be heard free from persecution and shaming; you, and your thoughtfulness, is deeply valued and appreciated and here you can meet and socialize with such likeminded people. Thank you.
Having Good Discernment
Example, you do not accept the argument that someone is in the wrong simply because “they raised their voice” or “used violence” because these acts depend on the circumstances of whether they are right or wrong. You do not accept the argument that someone is in the right because they “were kind” cause, again, kindness depends on the circumstances of whether of whether it is right or wrong.
You understand that acts depend on their circumstances whether they are right or wrong. Again, violence is not always right or wrong, kindness is not always right or wrong, accepting/rejecting new ideas or keeping/discarding old ideas is not always right or wrong, original movies being remade is not always right or wrong, telling the truth is not always right or wrong, example: police negotiator may lie to evil terrorist to buy time to save hostages
